Pastor Brandon Keck Lead Pastor
Pastor Brandon has been serving in the United Methodist church since 2006 when he graduated from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (MTSO) with a Masters of Divinity. He has served at 3 churches prior to us, most recently having served at Three Crosses United Methodist Fellowship in Butler, OH. He has a passion for mission trips of all kinds and he believes that all faith communities need to be engaged in these activities and that the best opportunities for spiritual growth can happen when we host mission teams here in our own backyard. Brandon is married to Johnna, and they have 2 sons.

Suzanne Komaromy Financial Secretary
I began working here on June 24, 2001 as the Financial Secretary. My family and I became members in 2008. This church has always been so welcoming and I have formed many friendships here. I love working here and appreciate the staff, the committee members, and the leadership. For me, it is important to help with the stewardship of the generous donations that are received. I have seen the members and the community’s faithful giving accomplish many great things. My work here at First is just part-time. I also work at other local businesses as an office manager/accountant. I have been blessed with four wonderful children and I now have six beautiful grandchildren.

Kristi Prucha Organist
As the daughter of a United Methodist pastor, I have always been involved in the church. I began playing for the Barnhill UMC at the age of 11, and since then, have either been the choir director or organist for a number of United Methodist churches. When I moved back to the area as an adult, I found that the New Philadelphia 1st UMC was a great fit for me and my family. We were members here for a number of years before there was a need for someone to take over the position of organist, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to join this fantastic staff! I hold a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Mount Union, as well as a Master of Music degree from Youngstown State’s Dana School of Music. In addition to this position, I am the choral director at New Philadelphia High School, where I teach six choirs, and live in New Philadelphia with my two amazing daughters, Maggie and Abby.
