The mission of our church is incredibly important to us. It aligns with the teachings of Christ and our mission drives us to offer many different ministry opportunities to the people of our community and the world. The mission is this:

To make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world!

We believe the ministries we provide and host within our buildings bring that mission to life. We would love for you to be a part of our mission and the great commission of Christ.

This committee has the important role of leading outreach ministries at New Philadelphia First UMC. Outreach ministries offer many opportunities to help those in need, to pray for others, and to spread the love of Jesus Christ. This group meets the first Tuesday of every month & anyone is welcome. The outreach committee oversees the Clothes Closet and Supper Table ministries. They also support the following community programs:

Greater Dover New Philadelphia Food Pantry
T-4-C
United Way of Tuscarawas County
